'Ocean Sunset'

“Sunset” expresses the transition between day and night through a flowing, draped guilloché pattern inspired by ocean movement. Originally developed in the 1930s, this drapé-moiré motif is hand-engraved in Italy using traditional engine-turning techniques, requiring exceptional precision and control.

Once completed, the dial is sent to Vietnam where multiple layers of Sơn Mài lacquer are applied by hand, each one carefully dried and polished to build depth and transparency. The resulting gradient blends pink, violet, and deep blue tones, echoing the final light of sunset over water.

Every dial requires many hours of meticulous craft, making each piece subtly unique while preserving a consistent artistic identity across the edition.
